Route control. Keep track of your regular routes practically without lifting a finger. Just enter the routes and a delivery timeframe for each address. If a delivery is late or missed, you receive an SMS, and the deviation is registered in the system. Then you can use the information to improve delivery accuracy. Your customers can even be provided with a login, so they can track their own deliveries. Route control let’s you improve your service while spending less time on the phone responding to inquiries.
(Route control is a great service for bus lines too. Examining arrival deviations allows you to improve scheduling. And the real-time location of buses can be transmitted continuously to bus stops ahead.)
Order management. This is a latest-generation fleet management system that lets you pinpoint every vehicle and every customer order while you survey your entire operation in real-time on the Followit Geo™ map. In addition to keeping track of vehicles and orders, and optimizing traffic, the system generates invoicing data. Traffic management is simplified, and both you and your customers save plenty of time and money.
Trip log. If you run a service company, this lets you keep 100% track of your vehicles’ locations. Which means you can keep non-billable time to an absolute minimum. Simply put, there’s no more guesswork. You’ll also improve customer service because you can answer questions about arrival time quickly – and accurately. Trip log is easy to use and requires no manual attention. You track your vehicles in real-time and can print the logs or transfer them to other computer systems.
Area fencing. With an easy-to-use boundary “fence”, you can select and activate one or more areas anywhere on the Followit Geo map. When any of your vehicles enters or exits an activated area, you immediately receive a signal with information about the vehicle and the driver involved. Each area can be as large or as small as you like – from a single parking lot or street to an entire neighborhood, city or region.
Speed control. This service ensures that vehicles don’t exceed a set speed limit. If one does, both the driver and the dispatch center receive a signal. You can use Area fencing and Speed control together to define different speed zones, for example for city centers and residential areas.
Driver alarm. An alarm button on the GPS unit (or on a separate unit that fits in a pocket) helps your drivers feel safer in threatening situations. The alarm signal, which can be sent to your own dispatch center or to a security company, can be graduated according to the seriousness of the threat.
Temperature control. This service keeps track of your refrigerated vehicles and ensures that the part of the refrigeration chain that you are responsible for lives up to the required standards. The temperature in the cargo compartment is registered on a simple graph at a set interval, say every five minutes. This allows you to determine right away whether an unacceptable rise in temperature took place before, during or after transport.
Environmental declaration. This simple service calculates and posts your vehicles’ CO2 emissions and generates the environmental declarations that more and more customers require. The calculations are based on information about each vehicle, engine, distance and actual fuel consumption.
Theft protection. With Followit Guard™ you can keep an eye on vehicles and valuable cargo and track them down fast if they should be stolen.
