Stolen equipment and vehicles are rarely recovered – unless they’re protected by Followit Guard. Then the recovery rate is 95%. Here are a few relieved owners.
When professional thieves took off with a telehandler from the British leasing company Doncaster, they had no idea it was protected by Followit Guard. The alarm sounded straight away, and within a few hours the telehandler was found on a farm in the south of England. The telehandler was hidden out of GPS satellite range in a cement tunnel, but nevertheless, the Guard unit continued to signal its position. The police were called in, and the telehandler was restored to its owners the next day.
Another telehandler was stolen in Hull, England. It, too, was protected by Followit Guard. When the alarm sounded, the telehandler was traveling down the highway heading for the nearest harbor – most likely on a truck. The truck was stopped in a police roadblock, and two more telehandlers were discovered onboard. Their GPS senders had been jammed, so they weren’t able to send an alarm signal – unlike Followit Guard.
